        In more civilized countries friends and spouses who call 911 are protected from prosecution. This saves lives. Of course we don't do that here for the same reason we fund the DEA rather than rehab efforts. Our priority is feeding the for-profit prison system.

        You get raped these days they're willing to do something about it. Growing up as a child they didn't do anything about it they just brush it under the rug. Foster homes especially.
