Why are all these women trashing these men years after? There should be a limit to like no more than a freakin day before reporting it. Not 3-20 years. I understand it in cases where they were underage when it occurred. Most these women were old enough. They just let it go on.

There is... and it’s called a statute of limitations. These accusations are all beyond said timelines. Yet, suddenly, the law doesn’t matter anymore. What was stopping them from making these complaints after the incidents took place?

Trauma you twit

-
Traumatic as it was... dealing with it appropriately is the right thing to do. Waiting until this thing called the law cannot help you, only to shame a person after the fact, isn’t justice. In fact, because of it, the law might favour the attacker.
#JustSaying -
When one is traumatized, rationality/appropriateness goes out the window. Victims of sexual violation are often too ashamed to speak out in time or at all so malice may not be the only motivation here. BUT
#MorganFreeman should be treated as an innocent man till proven guilty. -
I concur!

I’m all for women speaking up about sexual abuse/harassment, but have to wonder about the rights of these men to be innocent until proven guilt. Seems once an accusation is made, their careers are hosed immediately, before due process.

This isn’t okay. These are allegations. The idea to simply accept allegations as true is a notion that goes against our entire system of justice. Yes, believe the women when the allegations have been tested.
#innocentuntilprovenguilty -
Word! ps: the reporter is one of the accusers.
-
Great. More of the same sloppy journalism that we’ve come to accept as fact. An allegation is just that-an allegation. And some of these allegations are that someone inappropriately stared. Seriously?
-
Ridic. Right? Stared too close up. That’s 2 new criminal statutes right there: 1) to intentionally stare up and down 2) invade space. Lol
-
Exactly. I am tired of this pattern of destruction by allegation. Sexual assault allegations as well as sexual harassment in the workplace are serious and merit comprehensive reporting. But firing those targeted after allegations-goes against basic tenets of our legal system.

Where is the line from flirting to harassment is scary. It shouldn't be that way. In all the videos it's only creepy because the headline said creepy. Other than that they came to him and asked questions. He said things that could be taken a number of ways.

So he hasn’t even been convicted or any charges filed, and already his life begins to unravel. I mean Harvey, we had a recording. It was there along with other evidence. Not saying Freeman is innocent but what about due process?

Dont blame the victims, if they seek justice against a sexual predator then we should support them regardless how long it takes them to get courage to face their assailant
-
There is a huge difference between someone who makes the occasional inappropriate but ultimately harmless comment and a sexual predator. If there isn't, about 70% of American males would be doing time.
