Anyone else noticing that all of this #schoolgunviolence is happening in the #suburbs? And not like, #Chicago or [insert goto high gun crime area name here]? Strange.

I remember hearing that the reason we Hear so much about shootings in the suburbs is because there are so few of them. Large cities like Chicago or NYC have so many shootings, They don’t make the news. No matter which way it happens, it’s all horrible

It is all horrible. However, we hear about shootings and the stats about Chicago and the like constantly - just start a conversation about gun reform and see how quickly they come up. But SCHOOL shootings? Just walking into school with a gun and shooting? Only suburbs. Why?

Good point. A really good point. It sounds like they are two different situations. City gun violence versus suburban gun violence. Two different things going on. Except easy access to guns. There are ways we can have guns and I have gun control laws. I just know there is

How many more children and teachers have to suffer for someone to do something to prevent school shootings? 😟

I'm out of breath and I can't cry any more tears as I read this. I can only feel desperately sad and angry that this is now America's norm for children and teachers in school and their families that have to endure this unnecessary pain!

This is the THIRD FRIDAY IN A ROW of school shootings, my son’s school was 5/11/18. How many children have to be injured or murdered before they’re more important than your gun money?? #GunControlNow

So...when there are these “thoughts and prayers” what ARE the thoughts, exactly? Are they like, “Hmm, is a peanut a pea or a nut?” Because we know they’re not about common sense gun laws.
