Meek Mill: “Why do soldiers get a free pass for acting out when they come back from war. They might have seen their comrade that they knew for only a year get killed, and y’all say it traumatized them,I saw 13 of my close loved ones get killed, where’s my PTSD pass”

With songs like "body count" and "ooh kill em" is Mr. Mill really a beacon of light in this world? Is he a reputable source on what appropriate and reasonable behavior is? He probably has ptsd, but copes in a weird way by promoting violence and bloodshed. People die at his shows.

Ignoring the absurdity of you claiming that people die at his shows, how does his artistry devalue the truthfulness of his statement in any way??

https://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/two-people-killed-in-shooting-outside-meek-mill-concert-w458565 … He claimed he would stop using violent lyrics in a Complex article. He propogates violence and agression through his "art."His statement is devalued by him participating in violent crime in his life. He's been a repeat offender since 2008. #kidsinternalize

Huh? What are u claiming? 1.)He doesn’t participate in violent crimes. 2.)if he’s responsible for a shooting outside of his concert then so are every artist, sport teams, et al, responsible for the brawls that occur outside of their events (surely you aren’t claiming that)

Yes, twice. I wouldn't wish the experience of seeing a dead or dying disfigured loved one on any person. Be a better person, stop perpetuating violence and instead promote peace. #lovewillbringusaround

If you are raised in violent areas, among violent people, you are much more likely to see somebody killed. This doesn’t imply that everybody that sees a sudden traumatic event in childhood is at increased risk of jail

Stop making excuses for violent criminals. There are people now living decent honest lives who saw their entire families butchered in conflicts in Vietnam, Poland and Rwanda. Experiencing violence must never be allowed to excuse perpetrating violence against innocent strangers.
