this headline perfectly captures why it was inappropriate to cuff him. police always do this as a personal power trip that has nothing to do with reason cuffs are supposedly used - to protect officers from a suspect that is physically threatening or a flight risk.

moreover, the cuffs aren’t properly used to give those who believe him guilty a sense of satisfaction. At this point, under the law he’s as innocent as the day he was born. not appropriate to use cuffs as a form of extra-judicial punishment

Guilty of nothing yet except lewd behaviour, guy's being run through the mill for historical sins of hollywood casting couch. #Weinstein was a man, in a free candy shop of females, taking what he pleased

If that is what you were saying in your prior tweet, I didn't comprehend that meaning from what you wrote. I do agree we are innocent until proven guilty even for a slime ball like this weirdo.

Yeah by his own admission his behaviour been somewhat reprehensible without breaking any laws, something he vigorously denies. Guy was caught in a testosterone-fuelled sex power bubble and succumbed to it. Guilty of being a c*nt towards women but rape a different matter

He has apparently always been a sexual predator as rape reports go back to the 80's before fame and fortune but I am sure that accelerated the behavior.

Possibly goes with the job in a good % of cases, power, money, women, glamour, drugs, celebrity, jam packed full of vice & iniquity and he was top dog. Mix all that with testosterone/high sex drive you get a form of mental illness really :)

Good to see this precedent set relative to the #MeToo movement. Will be interesting to see how it shakes out for others like POTUS45, Lauer, Moore, etc.
