No, that wasn't the point of the article. Over the last couple of generations, wealth was transferred from the younger generations (invest in the future) to disproportionately in favor of older generations (reward the voters who turn out).

You're not kidding. Clear and concise, and a fresh perspective for me. I also think young people have rallied around Bernie because he is genuine. Millennials can sniff a phony and Bernie is certainly not that.

This is very, very true. I have 7 kids/step-kids and they are all entirely pessimistic and afraid of the future and do not trust capitalism to give them a better life—just the 1 percenters. This includes my 29 YO working at AmEx.
