That's not to say it's good or bad (I'm biased on that q obv); it's just part of who we are. imho the problem w/ the anon op-ed and book author is that they continued serving in the admin despite their views, but if you believe the reporting that's a much more widespread thing.

On balance I do think they should go public and resign. But I was encouraged that they refused an advance and are donating “majority of profits” to charities that support gov’t transparency and accountability. (I’ll want to see #’s but at least it’s nominally not about profit…)
