    In , we salute the black NYPD officers family tradition that began almost 130 years ago - ever since Moses P. Cobb became one of the first two black New Yorkers to enter the Brooklyn Police Department in 1892.

    We have not always agreed with Judge Grasso, but it is difficult to argue with his critique of bail reform “The scope of removal of judicial discretion on bail matters in this ‘reform package’ is breathtaking,” Judge Grasso said We applaud him for publicly raising his concerns!

    . can by resigning & close this chapter of mismanagement, corruption, and anti-cop rhetoric. Give us someone who will bring back public safety and someone who will unite the communities and our police, not divide us to score cheap political points.

    Connecting with our young people, partnering with our communities, and neighborhood policing are all part of what cops do all day. They are not the same as removing all consequences for bad behavior which is where our public safety policy has been headed

    Like Bail Reform, Discovery Reform is endangering lives & safety: Nassau County Executive Laura Curran is calling on Albany “to fix criminal justice reform immediately,..new discovery requirements pose a threat to both the victims & witnesses of crimes.”
