Instead of visiting the Aisne-Marne American Cemetery outside Paris in 2018, Donald Trump used his spare time to remove multiple pieces of artwork from the US Ambassador’s official residence and haul them back to White House. Yes. This happened. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2020-09-06/trump-ended-2018-france-trip-having-art-loaded-on-air-force-one?sref=62t700Zl …pic.twitter.com/fHNjqhlSXS

According to @business, the US Ambassador to France, Jamie McCourt, was startled, but Trump told him he’d get the art back “in six years.”https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2020-09-06/trump-ended-2018-france-trip-having-art-loaded-on-air-force-one?sref=62t700Zl …

Any doubt he is going to thrash the WH and steal stuff from there like some evicted house owners do, in Jan 2020?

This was, of course, the trip where Trump reportedly disparaged the American servicemen who were buried in Aisne-Marne, calling them “suckers” and “losers.”https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2020-09-06/trump-ended-2018-france-trip-having-art-loaded-on-air-force-one?sref=62t700Zl …

A White House spokesperson justified Trump’s taking of the artwork from the Ambassador’s residence so they could "be prominently displayed in the People’s House.”https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2020-09-06/trump-ended-2018-france-trip-having-art-loaded-on-air-force-one?sref=62t700Zl …

Nazis also had a habit of taking art work.

They better do a thorough accounting of art, furniture, and historic mementos when Trump loses. He’s already robbed the people and funneled plenty of tax dollars into his private businesses. I wouldn’t put it past him to steal the spoons and crystal on his way out.
