A summary of my research ideas! https://guzey.com/personal/research-ideas/ …
- Does poor eyesight make you smarter?
- Do people have different levels of self-control or do they just experience temptation differently?
- How does mental imagery work?
(inspired by @patrickc's https://patrickcollison.com/questions )
"Why is reading upside down hard? why is vision not orientation-invariant?" also not rotation-invariant. letter recognition is tied to shapes of the letters somehow. Permute the letters and reading even without tilt becomes very hard (prob. harder than adapting to a new alphabet)
