    That's kind of my problem with Pearl's approach - when he says it like it is, it is bound to sound too large to be truth. Instead of lowballing so that people could kind of arrive at large conclusions themselves, he makes them less believable by presenting them in their entirety

    My wife and I never talk baby talk to our kid. We enforce academic seminar norms and jargon. My child isn’t even 2 yet and can interrupt presenters on the first slide. Adults at family gatherings are shocked when my child asks a question that turns out to be more of a comment.
