Just got a brilliant use for this from

if you have a secondary COLDCARD, you can load it with a bip85 seed. Then compare the addresses/xpub/etc generated Why? Proves firmware is the same, xpubs are the same and CC is not lying to you w/o exposing master seed🤯

The second CC can be one you build the firmware yourself and load it in. It's deterministically built.

Seed generation using dice rolls, verifying backups, upgrading, .. Having a redundant "clone wallet" is always a good idea for every step in the hardware wallet journey.
