    Wow, now that I understand state machines, I can't help but see them. I'm looking at code from last week and going: "Ah! These 7 state variables can be replaced by a single status variable!" 🔥 No more separate isLoading, isError, isSaving...Just status. 🤓

    TIL that const and let declarations are hoisted to the top of the enclosing scope. Variables are just not initialized until a value is bound. Until then, the variable is in what's called a temporal dead zone. Attempting to access a variable in the TDZ results in a ReferenceError.

    I've been learning CSS Layout from Mixu's book and I've been really puzzled. I would type out examples token for token, and my output would exhibit different behavior than the CSS spec. HAHA, I forgot the doctype declaration and it turns out that it's actually very important! 🤦‍♂️
