Be of good cheer. There are at least a dozen full "dark" copies of Sci-Hub (I can vouch for one). Torrent health tracker websites give ridiculous numbers of seeders (40-50), but if you query the tracker itself, it shows numbers in the 15-20 range.

That's about the number of peers downloading you used to see when new scimag torrents dropped. 100TB is a lot of storage, but not prohibitively expensive these days.
