Heartwarming! I worked for a homelessness organization in Adelaide SA for years and though some might not understand this story I can tell you now that it would have meant everything to this homeless man to have his pet back. Good on you NSW Police

Awesome news....I pass this guy and the Rat so often in the city. There is usually someone having a chat and interacting with the Rat..who seems remarkably comfortable around the strangers stopping by. Happy this turned out well
