From 1 September 2018, a new road rule applies. When you see the blue or red flashing lights of Police and emergency vehicles stopped on the road, gradually slow down to 40km/h. #TowardsZero Find out more: http://roadsafety.transport.nsw.gov.au/campaigns/slow-down-for-emergency-vehicles/index.html …pic.twitter.com/ar2qWnX2rJ

Can you please clarify. Is it just blue and red flashing or all emergency. Some flashing lights are just yellow/ orange.

So you close down half the road when you are on a scene of an accident, for hours, ensuring you make it as inconvenient for the public as you can and now, its made worse by this BS speed. If you lot cannot sort yourselves, without this, then you should not be in the job.

Yes they do it just to inconvenience you! I can't believe someone can be so narrow minded.

Also to add.. on windy roads like old pacific highway Gosford-Berowra or Putty Road Singleton-Windsor, there are a lot of blind corners and people absolutely fly on those roads, esp bikes. and they see these, likely to lock up brakes and crash..
