Hmm I can write high level scripts in Python and did solid-state chemistry back in the day. Need to find some low-effort way of filling the massive gap in the middle

As a class-taking student, I had a goal of understanding the basics (just enough to be able to appreciate real work) of every part of the computing stack from silicon ingot to Python script.
Fun way to pick classes, but I dunno how to do it except as a full-time student.
Managed to hit most of it except for a glaring gap between "okay I can make a half-adder out of transistors" and "here's an x86 processor".
Maybe some day I'll fill the rest in. π
