Very excited to start trusting science and experts but I keep finding that standard clinical practice in different countries is often directly contradictory.
What should I do?
Maybe could try believing something and its opposite at the same time?

The number of drugs that are approved and widely used in some countries and completely unknown in others kinda breaks my brain. e.g., Russian psych drugs, (slatestarcodex.com/2014/08/16/an-) and immunostimulants (sarah-constantin.org/blog/2018/1/14).
I live in North America, but a drug that's "safe and effective in preventing respiratory infections, cutting the risk of infection by 40-50%" sounds pretty damn good right about now.
