This is an interesting thought: as AI eats the world, Functional Decision Theory becomes more relevant.
I wonder, did this already happen with non-AI software? It seems like most firms use basically the same software tools, and that should (?) cause decisions to correlate?

If this hypothesis is true, then there should exist strategic interdependence even in the case of many firms using AI services. Why? Because AIs may reason "if I do X, so will all my copies" magnifying the influence of their decision on the rest of the world.
