I want to quickly & politely say that the Israeli government has been trying to silence advocates of Palestinian rights and banning entry to Palestinians since first expelling them in 1948. Palestinians in diaspora are interrogated, detained, and denied entry to their own home.

This is all well documented and for everyone saying it’s her “right” to be neutral because she’s not educated on the topic, that’s not my problem. People are dying and there’s no room for celebrities with big platforms and millions of dollars to be “uneducated”

if she's not educated on the topic, there's no way for her to HAVE an opinion. maybe that's the point people are trying to make. yes, i agree, more people should get educated on things like this..but demi is one person among MANY that..um, are like this?

i also don't think it's right for people who are educated about something to say "that's not my problem"..as if you weren't in the hot seat at one point for NOT knowing something as well. you're putting yourself on a high horse instead of saying "well i can help you understand".

once upon a time, im sure you didnt know what was going on either with various things. as does ALL people unless they DO educate themselves OR someone helps educate them; to actually get people to WANT to learn, kindness & offers of help goes a long way. not making it tea. :/
