The federal government will end funding for coronavirus testing sites on Friday. While some sites will transition to being state-managed, others will close as a result. This as criticism continues that not enough testing is available. https://n.pr/2y35sNu

The Feds have no plan in place, it appears. No strategy.

Oh they have a strategy alright - to make sure the numbers are suppressed so they can push "reopening the country".

This is insane! Kids can’t go back to school and businesses can’t open until there is a solid widespread testing plan in place. @GovInslee

Wow! They are declaring victory and I don’t think we’ve even seized the initiative against covid-19 yet! Has someone determined this virus is near capitulation? If so who? Take my $1200 and buy another test kit—-I’d rather live than get $1200.

Testing makes things look worse I guess. No one is declaring victory but it's the wrong choice

The numbers will go down due to less testing instead of because of less infected. The next step is a significant spike in deaths about two to three weeks after restrictions are lifted.pic.twitter.com/OLeIeXCmBw

My cynical self tells me: Massive loss of life will be concentrated in urban areas in blue states, especially in California and New York. It means fewer voting Democrats. Don’t think they haven’t thought of that. Why else the delays in aid? #CoronavirusUSA #VoterSuppression

This decision to stop testing for #COVID19 coupled with today’s attacks on the World Health Organization from Trump and his surrogates will help explain why the nation with the most resources and advanced warning will continue to suffer the most.

It’s the federal government’s job to make sure every American who needs a Coronavirus test can get one, since we pay way more federal taxes than State taxes
