I think the election of Trump did it.

That's because Democrats haven't done squat to help! Oh, they want your vote, but after that, they turn their backs on constituents. Why do you think so many ordinary citizens have stepped up to run in elections this year?

Voter suppression was strongest for minorities. It's impossible to gauge voting motivation, given suppression tactics.

Seriously if the Republicans aren't enough convincing to get them out as an opposition vote then there's probably not a lot the Dems can do additionally to make the case.

I'm not denying the democrats are hard to trust ..they haven't exactly helped stem the systemic racism that has run rampant for decades but the rest of us need to admit it exists and change it. We need each other to do this. We don't deserve it..but please save us from ourselves
