Main reason I left the game. I made less than $15k in the 3 years I was with A’s and Brewers. Waking up everyday wanting to get better while wondering where rent and food money will come from takes a toll. And for some of you, can’t pay for groceries with “an opportunity”

Asked Rob Manfred if his owners don’t pay minor leaguers a living wage because they can’t afford to or because they aren’t interested in doing so. “I reject the premise that they're not paying a living wage,” Manfred said.

These past two months I’ve realized my place is still on the field and not in the stands. That time will come. But it’s not now. I love my teammates, and I love my supportive family. They make it all possible. I’m coming back for my 23rd season in Tampa. Unfinished business LFG

Your chances of being the best in world are low. Luckily, the only person you need to beat is the person you were yesterday. The only way the best become the best is by pushing themselves to be better every day, not by comparing themselves to others.

Enjoyed this one my man! The best investment is the one you make in yourself. The sky is the limit when you go all in 💪

I thoroughly enjoy telling people “far-fetched” goals of mine for the sole purpose of them coming back with some “realistic” answer and telling me about the odds. I don’t care about the odds. And quite honestly I look forward to those responses bc it just fires me up!

To clarify, I am very frustrated with the situation. However, there are SO many opportunities out there to make $ and not just be one dimensional. We should do a better job building value and income off the field. I'm still training my ass off to stay ready for when we are back
