Main reason I left the game.
I made less than $15k in the 3 years I was with A’s and Brewers.
Waking up everyday wanting to get better while wondering where rent and food money will come from takes a toll.
And for some of you, can’t pay for groceries with “an opportunity”

To be clear, MiLB players can be grateful for the chance to chase their dreams while also stating that making less than $12,000 a year isn’t a livable wage.

To clarify, I am very frustrated with the situation. However, there are SO many opportunities out there to make $ and not just be one dimensional. We should do a better job building value and income off the field.
