Skeptical as I am, and in another candidate's camp for now as I may be, I have yet to watch a clip of @PeteButtigieg that doesn't completely wow me.

Same, I just jumped ship from one candidate's camp to Mayor Pete's corner. I couldn't help myself. I will support whoever the nominee is though. I hope the primaries don't get ugly and all candidates understand beating Trump is the most important goal.

Me too 2020 is about fighting for the soul of America. Anyone who drops the temperature; unites us takes our seat at the world table, promotes love and just plain Kindness is what we need. Also, civility.We NEED this win. Otherwise we all better learn Cyrillic & Mandarin

It's important for the Democrats to quit putting down Democrats. Seriously how ridiculous or how low do u need to go? In the end 50 hopefuls will whittle down to 1. With that being said quit badgering ur TEAM! In the end 99% of you are voting for the person u trashed. So STOP IT!

I'm not saying there aren't real people doing what you're talking about, and I agree with you. Everybody also needs to remember this is the age of AI and this is how it's being weaponized.

I do not recall a politician other than Obama so capable of articulating the impacts of societal change and their effects on what and how people think.

It is SO refreshing to hear an INTELLIGENT, articulate, truthful candidate speak in ways that make sense to us as a society. This is how we work towards civility, which we have drifted so far away from.

if you can get a hold of "Shortest Way Home" - Mayor Pete addresses this from pages 274-278 - just if you would like to hear his perspective of this and "the most important lessons of this painful episode"

I mean, ask yourself, you’re a new mayor and the FBI and federal prosecutors tell you your Chief of police may have broken the law and you can either fire/demote them or the city can be prosecuted. What do you do? Not a lot of choices there.

Quick point: to my knowledge, he has presented no evidence that the FBI/Feds actually said what he claims. So, ask yourself, why take it as gospel when he gives a version of events that is completely self-exculpatory (and very suspect) without any evidence, save his recollection?

The FBI made a statement that the investigation ended in 2013, 2 years after it first occurred.

Is that proof enough? Or must everything be a conspiracy and not maybe the complexity of people, politics, the law, and the racist infrastructure of America?
