Disturbs me a little to see kids holding signs that say "Police Out of our schools". School shootings come to mind. What happens then? The girl was obviously not cooperating with authorities. I have no sympathy for people who blatantly think they are above following rules.

Police were in Parkland, FL school & did not save those kids from getting shot.

The officers are on medical leave????? Did they hurt their foot stepping on her leg? Or squeezing the trigger of their stun guns? The procedures the pd go thru when they know they wrong is hilarious. They on medical leave....pic.twitter.com/AIwwuGKD6F

At the beginning of that disgustingly shocking footage it looks like he king hits her.
Right hand punch.
TAKE A LOOK!
SHE IS A CHILD.
SHE IS A YOUNG FEMALE.
THERE ARE *2* ADULT MEN PUNCHING HER AND USING EXCESSIVE FORCE.
NOT. OK. NEVER WILL BE.

I agree they shouldn't have used a taser on her but I've dealt with kids like this and I can tell you they are extremely difficult to deal with and will fly into an uncontrollable rage over a simple request like asking them to put their cell phone away. It's harder than you think

I'm from NZ & we have children in Schools just like her - all Schools do. But we don't allow Police in our Schools (unless there is an emergency) With this young lady - her parents would be called & a meeting would set up to discuss her behavior & options. Simple solution.

Her confrontation with her teacher was serious enough that police had to be called, she resisted arrest, and was still hitting and kicking officers in the video. Gee, I wonder if that had anything to do with it?
-
She was pushed towards and fell down the stairs and was being continually tased. Would you have just sat there pretty? She had behavioural problems. The school should have access to resources to handle things like this, not call in police to escalate things.

How could they deal differently with that aggressive behaviour? Did not hand cellphone, did not leave classroom when ordered to, kicking officers. You can cover that with dramatic music but facts stay the same. There are other students who are learning maybe she‘ll learn respect.
-
This situation could’ve been handled differently. They have many ways to subdue someone. You’re telling me that the kicks were so hard officers can’t pin her to the ground and restrain her? You’re telling me that they couldn’t gain control of her legs like they did with her arms?
