Pelosi should be Speaker. She has the skills to get done the things we need to get done. However, the House Whip should be one of these New,Young Progressives to balance out the message. Someday, one of them might be Speaker and that's not as easy as it would seem.

This could be the other way around. The Majority leader and whip could also be a good fit for the old hats to get votes in line and craft legislation while the speaker is a podium to push agenda overview in public. Either way a mix is required at the current time.

Gosh maybe now we can get legislation that makes sense maybe we get healthcare AND protections for Pre-existing conditions or as they say care when you are actually sick
