@sebinsua none of these things happen in isolation from history. black people in the US have a long history of being disappointed.

@schakalsynthetc What I think is shocking is that they had an almost all white police force. How does that happen without serious bias?2 replies 0 retweets 0 likes -

@schakalsynthetc Likely to cause serious tension. Cultural diversity hard to manage when it results in races segregating into hierarchies.1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -

@sebinsua yep. but US black/white relations were *born* in total segregation, ie chattel slavery. that's an important difference.2 replies 0 retweets 0 likes -

@schakalsynthetc Violence. Diversity. Hatred of police. Idiocy of police. Both sides need to find common ground and attempt to empathise.1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -

@schakalsynthetc Suggestion that one-side (the police) can solve this by agreeing with protestors doesn't seem like a solution to me.2 replies 0 retweets 0 likes -

@schakalsynthetc Without common ground they'll have difficulty hiring coloured people. Nobody wants to work with people they hate.2 replies 0 retweets 0 likes -

@schakalsynthetc What I am saying is that both need to get over trust issues in order that they can integrate. Can't be 100% white police.2 replies 0 retweets 0 likes
@schakalsynthetc "PR sorry" from police and then the Ferguson community continue to hate and avoid them will continually erode trust.
