I've spent the week updating my art software, and with some of the new built-in 3d models the program comes with, body-kun might finally be able to retire. He lost his shoulder in a tragic fall and hasn't been the same since. #indiedev #CLIPSTUDIOPAINT
Demo clocks in at 10,739 words. Everything has been coded into the game at this point, so all that's needed to do is tweaking some of the animations while I wait for the final round of feedback before the public release.

my pro writing tip is to never give anything a stupid, temporary name while you think of a good real name, because the stupid name will just end up being the name you use in the story and you'll hate yourself

Secondly, I'm on schedule to release a demo of the project at the end of the summer/early Autumn. The demo will include the first quarter of the game (approximately ~15k words). I'm hoping to release the full project by the end of the year!

Still alive over here. It's been a rough few weeks, and this week I've been struggling to have the discipline needed to work anything but my day job. That's all, just complaining.
I'm still alive and kicking, I've been doing a bunch of editing ... and trying not to let the existential dread kick in.
None of my friends have called me on my shit so, I'm doing it my self.

Me trying to explain to my family a breakthrough I had regarding digital watercoloring technique - after a few minutes of trying (and failing) to explain the different layer settings, I add "well, for context, paper is usually white."
I don't think that made things any clearer.
Lots of small tweaks and improvements over the weekend, but I think the biggest accomplishment was designing Tina's clothing. She's a major supporting character in the story, and probably has some of my favorite lines in the game. #vndev #visualnovel #51ur8
