When you hear conservatives screaming about this- just remember that Catholic schools have been giving kids the day off to do "March for Life" for decades. https://www.washingtonpost.com/local/education/one-of-the-nations-biggest-school-systems-will-let-students-take-time-off-to-protest-the-conservative-backlash-has-begun/2019/12/26/7c2ebaf8-27e3-11ea-9c21-2c2a4d2c2166_story.html …

By the way- Catholic schools are set up to avoid paying taxes, but engage in this kind of political advocacy all the time. So when right wingers say "But tax dollars don't go to the protests for Catholic schools"- it's a lie.

No one's tax dollars are paying for Catholic schools to run.

If Catholic schools were doing that on taxpayer dime, then you can compare the two.

My money is forcibly taken from me to pay for the government run school. I choose to send my kids to catholic school. You not understanding the difference here is not surprising.

You could always move to a different county which has lower local taxes and have your kids commute to the same catholic school, no one is forcing you to live in fairfax county

Don't forget madrassas like Fairfax Baptist who bus their kids to precincts on election day to hand out Republican sample ballots
