I woke up in the middle of the night thinking about how egregious Apple’s behavior this week has been toward devs.
Wishing all my favorite MAS developers the best after Apple dropped the cert and then blamed devs. Sad situation. Everyone take a month off.

Wonder if there are any collective actions that could be taken to raise the profile of the problem.

Like targeting a “Day of App Removal,” or “Day of Sustainable Pricing,” with appropriate press coverage.

Then I wondered if Apple-centric journalists have been captured — where they can’t ask tough questions w/o losing access, as with politics.

Is anyone writing about the horrible ITC processing times, for example? Why not?

That tweet showing Apple support telling customer to leave a review so dev can contact should be front and center on every Mac news website.

Along with commentary on how it’s not possible, and crushes devs under support load.

There is a “mass extinction event” happening for indie devs, and Apple is directly accelerating it. Very, very sad situation.
