@notch and then when the servers are available, they randomly roll back your city. I already lost two big cities by roll backs :(
I like how you can keep playing Sim City even when it notifies you that the servers are down. (But I thought it REALLY needed them?)

@notch Just means your progress may be at risk if you exit while they're down. I think. -

@notch If they are down, you can't quit the game (or you lose everything you've done when the servers are down). -
@notch If you quit Origin while playing, it will tell you that it will synchronize again the next time it launches (and then it quits too). -
@notch It does. NEW region stuff won't work when you're DCed. You get a region snapshot basically. And you lose your changes unless sync -
@notch Carefully, that is why my city had to be rolled back and I lost about 4 hours of "work". -
