One thing I’ll never get as my time as a golf pro, if there is lightning in the area, people seem to flock out to go practice and play. They usually say, it’s not raining so we must be good…
What are you thoughts? Public golf facilities that don't allow people to practice at their facility unless they have paid for their greens fee? Do you like it or no?

Alright, the golf season is getting into full swing, question I have is what type of golf content will help you with your game that you'd want to watch?

Hey there is someone on your platform impersonating me and threatening people, you don't have a way to stop this from happening, I would think this is a priority no. Can you let me know how to get this to stop happening?
Great video here from Michael Finney - pros hands are so trained that they don't even feel them anymore consciously. But they are squaring that club up for sure.

If you asked Jon Rahm what squares the club, I’m betting he says it’s his pivot…after all, his hands have become comfortably numb…

It's so important if you're getting a device to learn how to maximize it, this is a great opportunity!

It's really that simple, but it's one of the hardest things to overcome as a player to let go of preconceived notions and just simplify the game down. It's also one of the biggest challenges faced as a coach, but when the breakthrough happen, I love seeing those scores.

The key is to understand it and control. Most people do not know what their "go-to" ball flight is and that is the issue. Learn to hit it solid, learn to control the face and understand your ball flight to control it around the course, and scores get lower.

Also is your slice really what is stopping you? Well yes and no, if it's costing you enough distance or the curve is too great for the course you are playing to navigate the holes, then it might be. But there are plenty of scratch or better players who hit 30 yard curves.

Notice I didn't say I teach them to hit it straighter. Once you get into this mindset, you are in trouble. Because what is straight? A ball that doesn't curve? What about when you need to curve it? What happens when you don't hit it straight one time?

My students mainly work on 2 things - center contact and club face control. I know if they hit it in the center of the face they will hit the ball farther, and unlock the ability to control it. Then as they learn to control the club face, they will control the ball.

The hard part though is the mindset of a student, or any golfer for that matter. Can you let go of pre-conceived notions of how this works and what it "should" look like to swing a club? Most really struggle with this.

I'm glad to see this, he isn't going to win, the reps aren't going to matter, he needs to rest and heal up. I'd be ok if he waited to head overseas to comeback. Hoylake is flat and much more doable.

Hearing a lot about 13 being a lay up hole this week. I have faith that Augusta will figure it out, but I want to see how it plays first before getting up in arms.
So in summary, I love Spieth this week, also love Rahm. I can't get on Rory because of the weather and I just don't think he can control his short irons well enough. Sleeper pick is someone like Cameron Young with Paul T. on the bag with some knowledge.
