the latest makeup / no makeup thread has served to remind how hard on myself I am about whether I live up to expectations of how others think I should look. To an extent I don't need approval from people I just don't want cruelty from them.
I've had people pick apart my face online and say all sorts of nasty things when I just want people to care about the things I make instead and whether or not I treat people kindly and if I'm a good mentor to others.
I put myself out there for two hours of video every week and I want people to connect with me on my stream and see me smile, cry, yell at bugs and smile at jokes the chat is making. Which means that I take the good with the bad when showing my face.
anyway I don't spend hours dwelling on this stuff because I don't deserve that kind of self imposed grief + I know better, but it's annoying af as a concept when trying to just live your life
I like how your face is part of you and shows your facial expressions. It’s a good face! I also am always learning something when you are talking, because you care about helping people understand. In conclusion, I approve the Suz message. 
perhaps when you're a creator of anything, you are somehow pulled into the front lines of the conflict between good and evil. Or, in a more eastern perspective, being a builder of things and a teacher of people agitates those who are least enlightened and the most misguided.
It's the lowest of the low to attack someone like that. You're one of the best people I know, and you're great with how you treat and support folks. I'm so sorry that they're out there and hurt you like that. <3
This sucks. We all know that a guy wouldn't get that kind of attitude from people. You follow your passion and do a lot for the community. In return, some people treat you badly. It is completely unfair. Please don't let it deter you from doing your thing and being yourself.
