    The Xmas tree industry is one of many in Nova Scotia & other parts of Canada that relies on low-paid migrant workers. Yet too often, they & other migrants are invisibilized. Today & everyday, let's thank the migrants in our communities 👏🏾

    The CBSA is operating exactly as designed: the violence and cruelty of border enforcement is central to maintaining the colonial borders and economies of racist nation states like canada, and there will be no justice until we etc.

    While Dale Lewis is finally under investigation, immigration enforcement continues in Canada as a deadly and racist practice. It doesn't need oversight, it must be defunded and dismantled.

    Ebrahim Toure spent nearly 6 years in Immigration Detention, detained because the government wouldn't believe his identity, before he was finally released less than two years ago. Now, the CBSA is using suspicious documents & information obtained by a rogue officer... (3/5)
