    I don't use shared_ptr<> in C++, but out of curiosity, I looked into how it works today. IMO, this is one of the worst programming tools ever conceived, and its existence is doing a great deal of harm. The proper reaction is to run away screaming.

    I had the absolute privilege to speak to 50+ bright and engaged secondary school students about getting into games. They asked and myself amazing and insightful questions for over an hour! I hope in some small way we inspired some of them to join the industry.
