  1. I never left my house that day. I was glued to my TV. I woke my roommate so he could watch. History was happening. I cried. Suddenly the world I had read about hit my shores with a bang. Every moment of that day is still seared into my mind. It always will be.

  3. While walking back from trying to get out of a college Spanish class, I passed a friend who said “I heard a small plane crashed into WTC.” Back home, I turned on the TV to see the 2nd plane hit. And then the towers fell. And the world changed forever.
