    I can deal with giving up my weekends to work. That's the natural of working in communications. But being able to rattle of what amounts to boilerplate text about more bigotry week in and week out is hurting me.

    In the last six months, I've written statements about hatred, bigotry, and murder seemingly weekly. Yesterday as I was writing a community security briefing for Jewish institutions in our area, a colleague made the comment about the cumulative emotional toll. And he's right.
