Absolutely ridiculous yet not surprising at all. Remember that everything you post on social media is available to anyone. There are SO MANY aggregation and collection tools that ANYONE can use (not just law enforcement) to surveil your activities.

heads up for local omaha peeps, when protests start back up (they will) and you get sent an invite to a event on facebook for one, just go. don't check that you will be going or that you're interested. they monitor that the heaviest.

These events are promoted based on their responses, so not responding is effectively ensuring that people won't see it. People aligned with BLM should be encouraging each other respond en masse, imo. Potential size forces local authorities to recognize protests as legitimate.
