    When I say go thru each, I mean ask about each. Say, Feb. 18: Who was there? Where did you meet? How long did you speak? What did you say to Mueller about the investigation that day? What was his response? Did you give him any instructions? Make any requests? Talk about staffing?

    BTW, I can't stress enough how much we do NOT want an "explanation" from Barr on his decision. You never give extra chances to present a defense. We want FACTS, starting with: On what dates did you speak in person with Bob Mueller about the investigation? Go thru each one.

    [Leaving this here] Section 5 of the Privacy Act of 1974 says: "Agency Requirements.—Each agency that maintains a system of records shall— maintain no record describing how any individual exercises rights guaranteed by the 1st Amendment unless expressly authorized by statute"

    We are no longer a free nation when tracks peaceful assembly. There's no "other" here, we are all in this together vs rogue state actors. Last summer the country came together to stop family separation, in response surveilled families.

    WTH?? Every time I see a lenient sentence for a horrible crime, I think of Kalief Browder spending 3 years in prison awaiting trial on a false charge of stealing a backpack. You get convicted of RAPE and no prison time?

    It occurred to me recently that I rare use as a news source. This is probably why.

    Media (particularly ) need to be held accountable for their role in aiding & abetting Trump by amplifying his lies by having his loyalists on as guests -- who then lie for him. Stop normalizing & rewarding them. No more Kellyanne, Caputo, Nunberg, Lewandowski, Scaramucci, etc

    It's almost like and didn't read the Mueller Report, because if they HAD, they'd be passing H.Res. 257 to start an impeachment inquiry. Mueller outlined 10 times Donald Trump obstructed justice, is that really not grounds for impeachment hearings?

    And first thing back for and is to normalize a tyrant who just thumbed his nose at your branch of government and our democracy by skirting subpoenas. So disappointing. You’re playing right into his hands!

    There are people in jail right now drafting their motions to the judge about the Graham-Trump defense and why their convictions should be vacated. Probably won’t be granted but it will be a lot of work for prosecutors to explain why.

    Actually, Barr's not even happy to do that. Once he figured out that everyone has figured him out, it was inevitable that he'd fabricate a pretext to avoid more questions under oath. It he tells the truth, the facade crumbles; if he lies, he cd be facing perjury charges some day.

    Barr spokesperson: “Members of Congress should be the ones doing the questioning. He remains happy to engage with members on their questions regarding the Mueller report” Sort of stunning that the nation's top lawyer wants to dictate how a coequal branch conducts its business.

    This is how dictatorships happen. All the institutions that provide any accountability are destroyed. R's are going on offense to protect a corrupt POTUS. Anybody who thinks Trump isn't emboldened by the Dem leadership's timidity is delusional.

    We KNOW Russia interfered in the election. We KNOW Trump benefited from the interference. We KNOW Trump campaign had >140 contacts with Russians. We KNOW they lied, lied, lied about the interactions. Now we investigate the FBI Who thinks this makes sense?

    It's time for the House to pass H. Res 257 to begin an INQUIRY into Trump's possible impeachable offenses. We shld call these hearings IMPEACHMENT hearings, so everyone's attention is laser-focused on Trump's criminal obstruction of justice, and the cover-up being done by Barr.

    This isn't a wild idea or even a new one. The hearing time is scheduled; people and the media have been waiting far too long already. If Barr decides not to appear, the time should not be wasted. In Watergate, staff read 7000 pages of facts into the House record. It took 6 weeks.
