Tbh my husband is SUCH a good decision maker and so level headed and has excellent foresight and I waffle between the 60% recalibration model and absolutely refusing to do anything he suggests I do because I am INDEPENDENT and maybe DUMB!!

I actually think this is a trainable skill(s). It requires some amount of being able to lay out a decision tree, having a firm grasp of game theory when dealing with others, and being willing to walk away from a negotiation table.
