Has anyone read any good books on the subject? I think a lot of the books you're talking about are really for people who need to focus on becoming healthy/attractive (level of non-neediness), whereas this is sort of the next step of assessing long-term compatibility.

yeah I’ve read a lot of PUA books as well as a lot of “he’s just not that into you”-type books and I agree they can be helpful for a certain demographic but it’s frustrating there’s nothing more sophisticated for people who don’t need that kind of advice

It's funny, I was watching "love is blind," and thinking My God these people have no idea how to vet a spouse for themselves...truth is, irl most people don't know how to do that either.
