There’s this old OkTrends post about how you do better in online dating if you’re highly polarizing (i.e. some people think you’re a 3 but others think you’re 10). Has anyone done a similar analysis for content creators (i.e. controversial vs non-controversial influencers?)

there’s also this paper about how moral-emotional language (often polarizing) influences how content is shared on social networks: https://www.pnas.org/content/114/28/7313 … 20% increase in share/retweet rate per moral-emotional word (in the dataset they studied)
