Cervical cancer is usually caused by HPV. Almost everyone has HPV—80% of women will get at least one type of HPV in their lifetimes. If you have had only *one* sexual partner, your odds of contracting it are still around 30%. No STD screens test for it.

Cervical cancer is slow-moving and easily treatable when detected in its early stages. Planned Parenthood does pap smears, colposcopies/biopsies, and LEEP (treatment for mild abnormal cells), often at little to no cost (!!).
