I just had the most amazing customer service experience at... the US post office?! Shout out to the new supervisor for 94110! Thank you for being so customer focused and welcome to SF.
It was refreshing how they just owned the problem, found a solution and expressed “the run around people are giving you is ridiculous.” Even though I burned a bunch of time dealing with USPS today I came away feeling really positive toward them because of this supervisor.
Great meta point here about the value of leaders intervening to help customers and showing they really care. Both for the benefit of the customer and for the education of their team.
The people working in USPS on Brannan and 4th are also excellent. Had one help me box up a carpet to return.
