I finally got internet access! Last week I was getting pains on the right side of my belly that I can best describe as like getting stabbed with a knife. I knew it was acute appendicitis due to fam. history. The hospital ran tests, & sure enough I had to go thru emerg. surgery.
I'm recovering quickly. I am scheduled to be discharged from the hospital tomorrow, which is a day earlier than expected. My belly button is a little sore where an incision was made, but I'm doing fine. Thank you all for your concern and well wishes.
I got discharged from the hospital today. It is hitting me hard how close of a call I had. My appendix did in fact burst, but the doctors were able to drain the toxins in time. I will continue to be on antibiotics for the next few days.
Also for those who were texting me. All of the messages were getting forwarded to my computer, but some were not getting forwarded to my phone. Apologies that I wasn't able to respond to all of you.
