"Significant influence" over covid moderation -- ironically, in an effort to NOT be the "arbiter of truth" the platform had prev established relationships with health institutions to try to understand what was and was not accurate in terms of health claims on diseases, vax, etc.

If the argument here is that no institutional authority with any tie to govt should ever weigh in about what is or is not accurate as platforms try to moderate content on topics that can cause harm (ie, fake cures), then the moderation-averse should make that claim directly.

And perhaps also begin to articulate who should, or what should happen. If the argument is that platforms should simply be a free-for-all where every popular colloidal silver pusher shapes public opinion because they are "citizen wellness journalists", then say that directly.

There does not seem to be anything in here that rises to the level of jawboning. The COVID misinfo policies began not under Biden, but under Trump. It is remarkable how this is politicized. Biden saying social media is "killing people" in July 2021 was well after policy began.
