Stress in personal life is a catalyst for growth and it seems no different on a global scale. A total rethink on remote work, education, healthcare, and urban systems + a reduction in carbon emissions are all good bright sides that I’m hoping will have lasting positive change

Re: WFH... speaking to several tech companies, many (if not all) are seeing huge benefits in terms of productivity and even team cohesion compared to collocation. Why would any software company want to go back to the old way... expensive rents, commutes, etc

That’s not to say it’s all roses either... single 20/30 y/os now have to get way creative for in-person socializing, hardware teams still need to touch hardware together, and there’s undoubtedly something important lost in esprit de corps not having impromptu casual conversations
