IMO Success is wildly overrated life measure at any age. But if you look in the mirror every day and you can live with yourself and others can live with you, you are probably OK.

Depends if you think your 18 yo self is wiser (I wasn’t) or you at your deathbed. I prefer to think about my last thoughts as I’m dying and whether I’d feel disappointed with myself.
