No more zero-sum than trading in general, where participants may mutually benefit because they have different time and risk profiles. Day traders don’t only trade with each other. Markets are linked together. More confirmation that beginning a comment with “so” is a red flag....

In Sweden, kids must now start businesses in high school. Sort of an incubator activity. Much more beneficial for them and their communities than the typical fluff kids usually get told.

I hate the undeserved nobility attached to the term “nonprofit.” Many nonprofit employees make very good money, often more than their greedy capitalist counterparts at for-profit concerns.

i fell for that! i really thought it was a noble pursuit full with honorable pple, it is not. I've been working my way out, at least know i work in a mixed scheme one foot in academia one foot in environmental government agency. Much better! But the goal is Self-owned scholar
