    In the early 2010s the govt projected that gas prices would rise fast, slow or moderately, ruling out a fall in gas prices as unreasonable (because gas was going to start running out). This flattered their estimates of the cost of subsidising renewables. Gas prices in fact fell.

    BBC in full disinformation mode this morning - they just interviewed a moron claiming that the German synthetic aircraft fuel manufactured during WW2 was ‘sustainable’ and that we should reuse the technology. Somehow he’s failed to notice it was made from coal.
